Diran Peak Expedition 2023-24
Diran Peak Expedition (7266m.) 2023-24: The peak Diran was first climbed in 1968 by three Austrians: Rainer Goeschl, Rudolph Pischinger and Hanns Schell.Earlier attempts by a German expedition in 1959 and an Australian expedition in 1964 were unsuccessful.
Diran Peak is a mountain located in the Karakorum Range Minapin Nagar valley. This pyramid shaped fascinating and most beautiful mountain lies in the East of Rakaposhi (7,788m) and Harmosh mountain regions, since opening of Karakoram Highway it has become increasingly poplar due to its easy approach lying on the Karakorum Highway.
