Overview
Shipton Spire (5900M) Expedition:Shipton Spire (5900m) is a granite tower in the valley of the Trango Glacier. Base camp lies on a pleasant meadow at the foot of Trango Ri. In 2006, Shipton Treks & Expeditions organized an Austrian expedition whose members were exceptionally successful on Shipton Tower as well as on the Trango Towers (a report of the expedition appeared on www.bergsteigen.at.
